Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured, age-appropriate lessons in line with the school curriculum and learning outcomes

• Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs

• Assess, record, and report on student progress in a timely and constructive manner

• Integrate global perspectives and real-world connections into lessons where relevant

• Foster students' character development, values, and social-emotional growth

• Apply differentiated teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting discipline, respect, and engagement

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and support staff to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery

• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being

• Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, assemblies, and staff meetings

• Attend and engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and assessments

• Uphold and model the school's mission, vision, and core values at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, or in the relevant subject specialization, or a related field

• 2–4 years of relevant teaching experience (fresh graduates with strong potential may also be considered for selected subjects)

• Good command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage depending on subject specialization

• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and use of ICT tools in the classroom

• Able to use smart board / interactive whiteboard technology

• Sound understanding of child development and inclusive teaching practices

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills

• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in lesson delivery

• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young learners

• Cultural sensitivity and a global mindset

• Team player with a proactive, collaborative attitude
