Quality Assurance System Specialist
Job Description
Plan and conduct food safety audits for restaurant outlets, warehouses, and internal functions to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Develop, review, and update SOPs, policies, work instructions, and procedures related to quality and food safety.
Conduct food safety training and awareness programs for operational and support teams.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of quality and food safety standards.
Support internal and external audits, including certification and regulatory audits (e.g. HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMP).
Monitor compliance with food safety standards and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and Food Safety Management Systems.
Experience in conducting internal audits and supporting external certification or regulatory audits.
Experienced in developing, reviewing, and implementing SOP and quality procedures.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good command of written and spoken English.
Willing to travel for outlet and warehouse audits.
