Business Analyst - Insurance (Project Based)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across business and technical teams.

• Conduct requirement elicitation through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Use Cases, and other functional documentation.

• Analyze business processes, identify business rules, and translate business needs into functional requirements for the development team.

• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, QA, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support system design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives.

• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation and issue tracking.

• Assist in change management activities, user documentation, and knowledge transfer when required.

• Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.

• Prior experience in the Insurance industry is mandatory.

• Experience working on system implementation, digital transformation, or application development projects.

• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirement gathering, process mapping (BPMN/UML), and documentation.

• Ability to create BRD, FSD, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• LOMA certification is preferred.

• Available to join immediately or on short notice (ASAP).
