Job Responsibilities
? Supervise and retain the Operations Lead and future enterprise staff.
? Submit timely financial, operational, and compliance reports to Division Head and GNP Finance.
? Build and maintain relationships with LGUs, barangay officials, waste suppliers, and community stakeholders.
? Represent the facility during inspections, audits, and partner visits.
? Serve as the primary local point of contact for the Korean Technical Specialist and International Team.
? Escalate technical, operational, or financial risks to the Economic Development Division Head immediately.
Team Leadership & Development
? Supervise the Operations Lead, Admin/Logistics staff, and any future supervisors.
? Recruit, onboard, and evaluate site staff. Approve all hiring decisions (Operations Lead recommends production technicians).
? Conduct quarterly performance reviews for direct reports; guide Operations Lead in reviewing production team.
? Foster a safety-first, data-driven, and blame-free culture where staff report problems without fear.
? Resolve local staff conflicts, attendance issues, or disciplinary matters in accordance with Philippine labor law.
? Plan for staff succession – train Operations Lead to eventually handle more site management tasks.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
? Submit weekly site report to Good Neighbors Philippines Economic Development Division Head and Korea International Team covering:
o Production vs. target (waste in, larvae out, frass out)
o Safety incidents / near-misses o Staff attendance and overtime o Key issues (equipment, waste supply, quality) o Adaptation trial status (if any)
? Submit monthly financial summary and variance analysis.
o Revenue performance – actual vs. target sales, customer orders, collections status.
o Cost performance – actual vs. budget by category (labor, utilities, waste, maintenance, overhead).
o Unit economics – cost per kg of larvae produced, gross margin per product line.
o Variance analysis – explanation of significant deviations and corrective actions taken.
o Cash flow forecast – projected expenditures and receipts for the next 3 months.
? Prepare quarterly business review presentation for GN Economic Development and Korean International Teams.
? Represent the facility during LGU inspections, donor visits, or partner tours.
Continuous Improvement & Scale-Up
? Lead monthly operations review with Korean specialist, South Korea International team, Operations Lead, and relevant departments.
? Identify opportunities to reduce cost per kg of larvae – waste sourcing, drying efficiency, labor productivity.
? Plan for facility scale-up (additional rearing modules, automation, new product lines) aligned with Good Neighbors’ strategy.
? Document all site-level institutional knowledge (permits, supplier contacts, emergency protocols, adapted SOPs) for future replication.
