Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and project budgets.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
- Evaluate quotations, prepare bid comparisons, and assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Prepare progress billings, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Review and verify contractor and supplier claims, invoices, and payment requests.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site personnel regarding project costs and quantities.
- Conduct site visits to verify work accomplishments and monitor project progress.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and company procedures.
- Assist in contract administration and support project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost estimation (fresh graduates may be considered, if applicable).
- Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, contracts, and cost control.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other estimating or quantity surveying software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Willing to be assigned in project sites located in Olongapo, Subic Bay, Zambales and Bataan area.
. * Able to drive a Manual Transmission Vehicle (must have a valid driver's license)
