Job Summary
The Bidding Specialist is responsible for identifying, preparing, submitting, and monitoring bid opportunities from both government and private sectors. The role ensures that all bidding requirements are completed accurately and submitted on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement regulations. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in PhilGEPS and experienced in construction-related bidding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and monitor bidding opportunities through PhilGEPS and other procurement platforms.
- Review bid invitations, technical specifications, and eligibility requirements.
- Prepare complete bidding documents, technical proposals, financial proposals, and other required attachments.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather quotations, technical documents, certifications, and supporting requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of bid documents and monitor bid schedules.
- Attend pre-bid conferences, bid openings, and other procurement-related meetings when required.
- Track the status of submitted bids and maintain records of all bidding activities.
- Coordinate with government agencies, private clients, and suppliers regarding bid requirements.
- Process post-qualification documents, Notice of Award (NOA), Notice to Proceed (NTP), contracts, and other related documents.
- Ensure company compliance with PhilGEPS registration, PCAB, BIR, SEC, Mayor's Permit, and other legal requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on bidding activities, awarded projects, and bid performance.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
