Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and hands-on Floor Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant, casual Greek restaurant in Uluwatu, Bali. As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing daily front-of-house operations, supporting and leading our floor staff, and ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily floor operations to ensure smooth, efficient service during shifts.
Team Support & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and motivate waitstaff, runners, and bussers to maintain high service standards.
Guest Experience: Actively engage with guests, handle special requests, and handle guest feedback or complaints with tact and professionalism.
Quality Control: Ensure all food and beverages served meet restaurant standards in presentation and timing.
Daily Briefings & Rostering: Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and assist the manager with floor positioning and task delegation.
POS & Cashiering: Oversee POS transactions, opening/closing cash counts, and manage end-of-shift reports.
Hygiene & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards throughout the dining area.
Upselling & Sales: Drive sales goals by encouraging upselling strategies among staff for Greek food specials and beverages.
Training: Assist in onboarding and training new front-of-house team members.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Supervisor, Captain, or Senior Server in a casual dining, beach club, or high-volume restaurant setting (experience in Bali hospitality is a plus).
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, positive, and approachable management style.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian (written and spoken).
Problem-Solving: Calm under pressure, quick to resolve customer complaints or operational bottlenecks.
Technical Skills: Proficient with POS systems, cash handling, and basic computer applications.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including split shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
