Required Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the shipyard industry, with at least 5 years in a Senior Manager, Head of Shipyard, or Shipyard Director position.
A proven and successful track record in managing large-scale newbuilding and ship repair projects.
Deep understanding of project management, resource planning, and ship production cost calculation.
Proficient in classification society regulations (BKI and IACS) as well as international maritime safety rules.
Possess strong leadership, assertiveness, communication skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is a major advantage.
Willing to be stationed at Batam.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Lead and integrate all departments within the shipyard (Production, Engineering, PPC, QA/QC, HSE, and Purchasing) to achieve company targets.
Project Management: Ensure all shipbuilding and repair projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the established quality standards.
Financial Control: Formulate, manage, and evaluate the shipyard's operational budget (P&L management) and implement cost-efficiency measures without compromising quality.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all work processes comply with HSE (K3) standards and applicable national and international maritime regulations (BKI, IACS, IMO, etc.).
Team Leadership: Foster, mentor, and evaluate the performance of subordinates to create a productive and safe working environment.
Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate with ship owners, class surveyors, vendors, and relevant port authorities regarding project progress.
