Junior Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to coordinate our product, operations, and go-to-market initiatives. You will be the bridge between our internal team, external partners, and overseas suppliers — which is why strong English is required, and Mandarin Chinese is a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and monitor projects across product development, operations, and marketing (e.g., new product SKU launches, seasonal campaigns, subscription growth programs)

- Communicate and coordinate with overseas suppliers and partners (specifications, timelines, shipment schedules), with negotiation guidance from leadership

- Translate management goals into clear timelines, task assignments, and weekly progress tracking for the team

- Run regular team check-ins / standups and report project status directly to leadership

- Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks early and propose practical solutions

- Coordinate documentation such as product specs, warranty policies, SOPs, and campaign briefs

- Support quality control and after-sales coordination when product issues arise

Requirements

- Fluent in English (spoken and written) — mandatory. You will use it daily with suppliers and partners.

- Mandarin Chinese ability is a strong plus — any level counts (conversational, HSK 3+, or solid listening/reading comprehension). Candidates with both English and Mandarin will be offered a higher salary.

- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, admin, or a related role (fresh graduates with strong organizational or leadership track records are welcome to apply)

- Strong organizational skills: comfortable managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and follow-ups

- Proactive communicator — comfortable chasing updates via WhatsApp, email, and calls

- Able to work independently in a small team without heavy supervision

- Domiciled in or willing to relocate to Surabaya

Nice to Have

- Experience in consumer electronics, audio products, or import/manufacturing coordination

- Familiarity with working with suppliers in China (sourcing, QC, logistics)

- Basic understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing in Indonesia

- Experience using project tracking tools (Trello, Notion, Google Sheets, etc.)
