Job Title: Server Hardware Engineer
Reporting to: Server Engineer Manager
Location: Cikarang, Indonesia
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and rack GPU/CPU servers under engineer supervision to ensure proper initial deployment and operation.
Perform hardware troubleshooting and debugging for servers, including GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, and network components.
Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of server hardware; document status and report abnormalities.
Monitor server performance, system logs, and alerts to ensure system stability and uptime.
Assist in diagnosing hardware and basic system issues (Linux-based systems), and support resolution processes.
Handle work orders/tickets, follow up on issue resolution, and coordinate with internal teams or vendors when required.
Manage spare parts replacement.
Test and validate new hardware components based on standard procedures to ensure quality and compatibility.
Support server deployment, upgrades.
Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of server hardware architecture (GPU servers, x86 servers, storage systems, etc.).
Familiar with Linux operating systems and basic commands (file system, process monitoring, networking basics).
Understanding of data center operations and best practices is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Fast learner, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.
Willing to work in Cikarang and open to occasional business travel.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
