Key Responsibilities
Mechanical engineers are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Designing Mechanical Systems: Conceptualizing, modeling, and detailing mechanical components or entire systems using principles of physics, mathematics, and material science
- CAD Modeling and Drafting: Creating 3D models and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize and refine designs
