About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join PT Integra Pratama's growing technology team. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Raya. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that drive our business forward. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed user expectations. What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and modern development frameworks.

• Designing user interfaces and implementing responsive layouts that provide excellent user experiences.

• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, backend developers, and payment teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Developing and integrating payment-related features within Android applications, including payment gateways, digital wallets, QR payments, transaction flows, and secure payment processes.

• Implementing secure payment functionalities while ensuring data protection, transaction reliability, and compliance with application security standards.

• Integrating third-party APIs, payment services, and external libraries to enhance application functionality.

• Testing applications thoroughly and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance, stability, and smooth transaction experiences.

• Optimising applications for performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and fast transaction processing.

• Staying updated with the latest Android development tools, technologies, payment technologies, and industry best practices.

• Participating in agile development processes and attending regular team meetings and standups.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in Android application development.

• Experience in developing mobile applications with payment, fintech, e-commerce, or transaction-based systems is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.

• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android development lifecycle.

• Experience with Android architecture patterns such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) or Model-View-Presenter (MVP).

• Experience integrating payment APIs, payment gateways, digital wallet services, QR payment systems, or other transaction platforms.

• Knowledge of secure payment implementation, authentication methods, encryption, and transaction handling.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating backend services.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement responsive designs.

• Experience with database technologies such as SQLite or Room.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Preferred experience with Firebase, Gradle, Retrofit, Glide, and other popular Android libraries.

• Preferred experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.

• Preferred portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating past Android and/or payment-related project work
