The Electrical & Superintendent (E&I) Superintendent will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation systems within our petrochemical facility. This role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and optimizing equipment performance to maximize production uptime.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of E&I technicians, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime
Oversee the installation, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and control systems
Develop and implement safe work procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a petrochemical, chemical, or similar industrial environment
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems (PLC & DCS)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to be based in Balongan, West Java
