SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor (Ground Level Chief) to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time position is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction yard, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high safety standards.
· Serve as Ground Level Chief
· Manage and oversee day-to-day ground-level operations, including logistics, maintenance, and resource allocation
· Develop and implement strategies to optimise processes and workflows, ensuring maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness
· Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate project implementation and address any issues or obstacles
· Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
· Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members
· Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to contribute to the overall growth and development of the company
· Develops and administers a facilities maintenance and project schedule; assists in project oversight of existing and new/improved facilities.
· Submits Daily Report
· Coordinates safety and quality matters to his team
· Provides input whenever necessary in generating Methodologies, Test Plans, Risk Assessment and other relative documents
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar ground-level operations or project management role, preferably within the engineering industry
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
· Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to develop and implement robust operational plans
· Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating cross-functional teams
· Thorough understanding of relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
· Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
