Key Responsibilities:
Achieve set Revenue and Volumes Turn Over and Targets.
Responsible and Accountable for overall Agency's Profit and Loss.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and increase revenue for Goodrich Indonesia Service verticals.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of operations, sales, and customer service staff.
Operation: Supervise and coordinate the movement of cargo, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong relationships.
Sales and Marketing: Develop and build up a new customer base for our NVOCC Principle - Reefers, Dry Containers, Specials Equipment, ISO Tanks, SOC Management, Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services.
Work closely with the respective verticals trade teams, ensure developments in Indonesia as per their requirements.
Import Nominations for Special Equipment, Dry Containers, ISO Tanks, Reefers and any other services.
Daily Sales and CS Meetings to find out about the current business situations and decide on priorities for the day.
Weekly reporting to the Country Manager and Management on the business development activities and forward planning.
Keep Trade and Management Informed on the new market opportunities
Any Cross-Border Principals/ other regional developments, to pass on the marketing and other recommendations to the trade team
Financial Management:
Manage branch finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Indonesia-Specific Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Indonesian Regulations: Familiarity with Indonesian customs regulations, tax laws, and logistics policies.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
Understanding of Indonesian Culture: Ability to navigate cultural nuances and communicate effectively with local clients and staff.
NVOCC-Specific Responsibilities:
Carrier Relations: Maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates and ensure timely space support for all export bookings
Container Management: Oversee container allocation, tracking, and maintenance.
Freight Tariff Management: Manage freight tariffs, including pricing, surcharges, and invoicing.
Freight Forwarding-Specific Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate shipments, including routing, scheduling, and tracking.
Customs Clearance: Ensure smooth customs clearance processes, complying with regulations and requirements.
Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and distribution.
General Requirements:
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Shipping, NVOCC, freight forwarding, and logistics operations.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management experience.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in the related logistics and supply chain field
Experience: Minimum 5 to 6 years
Status: Indonesian Citizen
