Job Summary:
The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of merchandising strategies to ensure consistent brand presentation, product availability, and optimal in-store visibility across assigned retail accounts. This role leads and supports the merchandising team, monitors field execution, coordinates with internal departments and retail partners, and ensures merchandising standards are consistently achieved to drive sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of Merchandisers within the assigned territory.
- Ensure proper product placement, shelf organization, planogram compliance, pricing accuracy, and promotional display execution across all retail stores.
- Conduct regular store visits and field audits to monitor merchandising standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop work schedules, territory assignments, and route plans for the merchandising team.
- Ensure all merchandising materials, point-of-sale (POS) displays, and promotional assets are properly installed and maintained.
- Train and mentor merchandising personnel on company standards, product knowledge, customer service, and merchandising best practices.
- Address field concerns, operational issues, and customer feedback promptly and professionally.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in supervisory level, merchandising, retail or field supervision.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a merchandising team is preferred.
- Experience in consumer electronics, appliances, audio/video products, or related industries is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple stores, priorities, and deadlines.
- Willing to travel frequently and conduct field visits within assigned territories.
