Key Responsibilities:
Handling the end-to-end recruitment process, also preparing and issuing employment contracts and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Develop and maintain crew schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all vessels.
Coordinate crew changes, travel arrangements, and accommodations.
Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of crew certifications, training, and medical examinations.
Coordinate training programs and certifications for crew members.
Monitor crew performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities.
Ensure crew members have access to necessary resources and support.
Act as the main point of contact between crew members and management.
Communicate updates, policies, and procedures effectively to the crew.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies
Minimum of 5 years of experience in crew management or a similar role in the maritime industry.
Proven experience in handling crewing matters for various types of vessels (e.g., tanker, bulk carrier, container, tug & barge, offshore support vessels, etc.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in managing crew for both domestic and international
Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English
Proficiency in using crewing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to travel if required.
