Key Responsibilities
Cost & Expense Analysis
Analyze standard vs. actual cost variances for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
Monitor factory operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Prepare financial analyses and reports to support operational and management decisions.
Business Partnering & Decision Support
Partner closely with Production, Supply Chain, and other operational departments to improve financial performance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Review and validate CapEx proposals through financial feasibility and return-on-investment analyses.
Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Internal Control & Process Improvement
Strengthen internal controls over inventory, fixed assets, and manufacturing processes.
Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Finance Business Partnering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience as a Finance Business Partner is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory valuation, and financial analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is an advantage).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Demonstrates sound business acumen, commercial mindset, and strong cost-saving awareness.
Able to lead initiatives independently while working effectively as part of a team.
Confident in working and communicating in English.
