Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join PT. ANTA GROUP DEVELOPMENT in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. The Site Manager will be responsible for leading site teams, managing resources, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all construction operations. This position is integral to the success of our development projects and directly impacts our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and manage daily construction activities on site, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications and timelines

2. Lead, motivate and coordinate site personnel including labourers, tradespeople and sub-contractors to achieve project objectives and maintain team productivity

3. Monitor and control project budgets, track expenditures and report on financial performance to senior management

4. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and industry best practices to minimise workplace incidents

5. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain construction standards and address any defects or non-conformances promptly

6. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to communicate progress updates and resolve any site-related issues

7. Maintain accurate site records, documentation and daily reports, including workforce logs, material deliveries and safety incidents

8. Plan and schedule construction phases, manage material procurement and coordinate logistics to ensure efficient site operations

9. Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect project timelines and budgets

10. Conduct toolbox talks and provide on-site training to ensure all team members understand their responsibilities and safety requirements

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor in the construction industry, preferably with 5+ years in a similar role

2. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, building codes, health and safety regulations and quality standards

3. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse workforces effectively

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documents

5. Sound understanding of project budgeting, cost control and financial management

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and stakeholders

7. Problem-solving ability and capacity to make decisions under pressure whilst maintaining focus on quality and safety

8. Knowledge of construction software and project management tools is advantageous

9. Relevant certifications in health and safety, first aid or construction management are preferred
