As part of our team, the Professional Development Facilitator will play a key role in leading transformative learning experiences tailored to meet the evolving needs of educators.

This Independent Contractor position is perfect for teachers and coaches who are looking to learn more about the customer success or professional development fields and love to lead excellent professional development sessions.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high quality in-person and virtual professional development sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Training and Operations Coordinator to deliver engaging online and in-person professional development sessions aimed at enhancing educators' proficiency in leveraging Screencastify effectively.
  • Assist in the creation and design of session materials.
  • Ensure all created resources adhere to Screencastify's branding guidelines and uphold the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Requirements

You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching and/or coaching within K–12 education settings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in facilitating professional development sessions for educators, both in-person and online.
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by teachers and educational leaders.
  • Are willing to travel and facilitate sessions during the school day as required.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field, or equivalent experience.

You’ll stand out if you:

  • Have experience in designing and facilitating online or in-person professional development sessions for educators or educational leaders.
  • Are familiar with using Screencastify.
  • Have experience working with diverse student populations, including English learners, students with special needs, and gifted/talented students.
  • Have experience reading the room and the zoom to pivot in real time when needed.

Compensation:

The expected rate for this role is anticipated to be $100 per virtual professional development session and $200 per in-person session. Final rates may vary based on session format and location.
