General Summary
Lead the Group's accounting and financial reporting function, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger, timely financial close, statutory compliance and accurate management reporting. Act as the Finance Process Lead for ERP transformation, driving accounting standardisation, automation and continuous process improvement.
What you'll do
Own the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts; lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, including review of journals, accruals, reconciliations and adjustments.
Prepare statutory financial statements, management accounts and Group reporting packages, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and Group accounting policies.
Maintain accounting governance, internal controls and revenue recognition, and oversee balance sheet integrity.
Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting.
Serve as Finance Process Lead for the Group's ERP migration, acting as the key finance liaison throughout the implementation.
Lead finance process design, accounting configuration and reporting requirements to ensure the new system reflects accurate financial and control needs.
Manage UAT, accounting validation and go-live readiness, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to reporting and close cycles.
Drive finance process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement as part of the broader ERP transformation agenda.
Lead and develop the accounting team, supervising Senior Accountants and AP/AR personnel, fostering technical excellence and a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
Approximately 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Big 4 Audit, Accounting Advisory, or Financial Reporting preferred. Experience in the Telecom or IT B2B industry is a plus.
Experience leading General Ledger, financial close, statutory reporting and group consolidation.
Hands-on involvement in at least one end-to-end ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, process design, UAT and go-live.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Zoho, Odoo or similar platforms is an advantage.
Experience in data centres, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities, EPC, real estate or other capital-intensive, multi-entity organisations is highly desirable.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
