About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join the team at PT Queen's Tandoor in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth financial transactions. As a Cashier, you will be the last point of contact for our guests, making a lasting impression whilst maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all monetary exchanges. Key responsibilities
Process customer payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers
Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and attention to detail
Provide courteous and efficient customer service whilst processing transactions
Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
Identify and resolve discrepancies in cash registers or payment systems
Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, prices, and promotions
Bag purchases appropriately and offer assistance to customers as needed
Follow company policies and procedures regarding payment handling and security
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience
Report any issues or concerns to management promptly
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a Cashier or in a retail environment is preferred
Strong numerical skills and ability to handle cash accurately
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions
Reliability and punctuality in attendance
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Honest and trustworthy character with strong ethical values
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
