CORE PURPOSE:
As a Personal Specialist Learning Assistant for Learning Diversity, you will be required to raise the standard of pupil performance, behaviour and wellbeing. The PSLA-LD works in partnership with academic staff to support the learning of an individual pupil and the delivery of the curriculum in general.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years working with students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within a school setting as a Learning/Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Personal Learning Assistant or Teacher.
Successful experience in the education industry, particularly supporting learning of students within the age range of 2-18 years within an International setting.
Good understanding of the UK National Curriculum and/or International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB).
Good written and verbal communication in English and good interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with students and other parties.
Good computer literacy (Learning Applications and Google Suite).
Desirable:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education/SEND.
