Key Responsibilities
1. Edit, package, and prepare short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms;
2. Independently complete video editing based on scripts, raw footage, and product selling points, including subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, basic color correction, and cover design;
3. Re-edit and optimize video materials based on TikTok trends, trending music, and platform-specific content styles;
4. Work with the content team to produce different types of videos, including product demonstrations, product reviews, scenario-based content, promotional videos, livestream highlights, and event recap videos;
5. Adjust video pacing, opening hooks, and content structure based on video views, engagement, and conversion performance;
6. Manage and organize raw footage, completed videos, and project files, ensuring clear file naming and proper material archiving;
7. Complete daily and weekly video production tasks on time according to the team’s content schedule;
8. Support simple filming, additional footage collection, or on-site event content production when required.
Job Requirements
1. Previous experience in short-form video editing and familiarity with content formats on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms;
2. Proficiency in CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva is preferred;
3. Good understanding of short-form video pacing, music, subtitles, and visual presentation, with the ability to capture viewers’ attention within the first three seconds;
4. Ability to independently complete the full editing process, from footage organization to final video export;
5. Experience in e-commerce, consumer electronics, smartphones, action cameras, or livestream-related content is preferred;
6. Ability to understand product selling points and transform them into simple, clear, and engaging video content;
7. High working efficiency and the ability to manage content requirements for multiple brands and multiple social media accounts;
8. Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to make timely revisions based on feedback and deliver content according to schedule;
9. Basic English skills for reading work-related documents and handling simple workplace communication;
10. Candidates are required to provide a personal portfolio or examples of previous short-form video work.
