Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other technical issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment or replacement components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with emergency repairs and perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, vocational certificate, or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance documentation.
- Basic computer skills; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physically capable of lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime or weekends, when operational needs require.
