Math Specialist – Part-Time Position
No papers to grade. Bathroom breaks at will. Skip the drama and do all your favorite parts of teaching! We're seeking to hire experienced ELEMENTARY teachers forpart-timeopportunities here at Made for Math. These are long-term positions for a growing company, weare notlooking for contract or summer-only workers! Preference will be given to applicants with current teaching licenses.ABOUT:Made for Math™ is an all-online math intervention service for families with students that have dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and autism. We are dedicated to getting our students results and know that the work we do is life-changing for our students.You'll know this is the right position for you if:

- You want to learn the structured and systematic math method to help students reach their highest potential.

- Meet with students in 25 to 55-minute sessions weekly
- Work primarily in the morning (Hours are Monday-Friday from 7 AM - 12 PM Eastern Time and attend a weekly work meeting Mondays at 4 PM Eastern Time)
- Assess student’s starting point using our game-centered assessment
- Curate lesson plans tailored to your students
- Track student progress and email parents to communicate progress
- Attend team meetings (Mondays at 4 pm Eastern Time and other times as arranged)

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or other Education related fields
- Good communication skills with parents
- Patient and can adjust to the mood of the student
- Able to teach in a fun and enthusiastic way while also keeping the lesson clutter free
- Have at least 2+ years of teaching experience
- Must be able to work a minimum of 14 hours with students per week
- You are paid for lesson planning/admin time for a total of approximately 21 hours per week
