The Finance Analyst role at Delta Insurance is curated from JobStreet (category Keuangan & Perbankan). Note the work location (Auckland CBD, Auckland) before applying. Yukerja.com is not the employer — applications are handled on the official source site.

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join Delta Insurance Group in Auckland CBD on a full-time basis. This is a newly created position designed to support and accelerate Delta's finance transformation programme. You will be responsible for automating key finance processes, delivering high-quality reporting, and embedding data-driven ways of working across the finance function. Working closely with our Group Financial Controller and broader finance team, you will play a key role in how we scale and modernise our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, build, and maintain automated finance workflows and processes across our core systems including Xero, Grappler, ProSpend, Power BI and banking tools

  2. Build automated validations and eliminate manual processes within Lloyd's bordereaux reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission to underwriters

  3. Automate and improve reconciliation processes between Grappler and Xero, reducing manual effort and improving data integrity

  4. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reports to support decision-making across the business

  5. Identify inefficiencies in existing finance processes and drive practical improvements - moving quickly from diagnosis to solution

  6. Apply AI tooling where it adds measurable efficiency or accuracy

  7. Take ownership of outcomes and operate effectively in an environment where not everything is defined

What we're looking for

  1. 1-3 years' experience in an accounting, finance, or finance-adjacent technology role

  2. Accounting degree required; progress toward CA qualification advantageous - study support is available

  3. Demonstrable hands-on experience with one or more of: Power BI, Python, Xero, Databricks

  4. Strong analytical capability with a high degree of attention to detail

  5. A self-directed approach to learning, with the ability to acquire new skills independently and apply them quickly

  6. Genuine aptitude for technology, with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset

  7. Comfortable working with ambiguity, taking ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for direction

  8. Exposure to insurance or MGA environments is advantageous but not essential
