We are a small, dynamic company seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our business. This is a varied and hands-on position that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

About the Role

 

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative and financial functions that support our operations in New Zealand and overseas.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and processing invoices for electric trucks, machinery and parts in New Zealand and international markets

  • Co-ordinate shipping & importation of goods from overseas

  • Managing accounts payable & receivable

  • Processing payroll

  • Maintaining banking & financial records and reporting

  • Liaising with customers & suppliers

  • General office administration and record management

  • Supporting management with operational and administrative tasks

  • Ensuring processes are followed and continuously improved

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in office management or accounts administration

  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, payroll, banking, and accounts management

  • Experience with customs & importation of goods

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to think independently and solve problems proactively

  • A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative

  • Confidence working with accounting software (currently MYOB) and Microsoft Office applications

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
