About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a skilled Accountant with experience in the manufacturing sector.
You will be working in a small, established finance team on a range of accounting, reporting and compliance tasks plus regular interaction with our subsidiary in Europe and our parent company in the USA.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Month end processing & reporting
- Annual statutory accounts preparation and liaison with the auditor
- Compliance reporting including IRD and Companies Office
- Understand and provide back up for AP, AR and payroll
- Costing & inventory analysis and reporting
- Contribute to business improvement projects
- Business partnering with non finance stakeholders around the business
About You
We expect the successful candidate to bring at least five years of relevant experience to this role and a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
Strong Excel skills are essential and experience with Epicor will be an advantage. A good working knowledge of AP, AR and payroll is needed and experience with materials costing, inventory reporting and similar work relating to manufacturing will be very useful.
