Our Paris Country Coverage team, part of Macquarie Capital, covers infrastructure, business services, technology and healthcare sectors, primarily advising upper mid-cap and large-cap clients on M&A transactions. The team operates in a highly international environment, working closely with other Macquarie offices on cross-border transactions, with a strong focus on sell-side mandates.

As an off-cycle intern, you will be fully integrated into the team and involved in live transactions, gaining hands-on exposure to the full deal lifecycle whilst sitting alongside experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial modelling and valuation
  • Contribution to origination efforts, including preparation of pitch materials, marketing documents and sector analysis
  • Participation in execution of mandates, including drafting presentations, supporting clients and advisors in due diligence processes and data room organisation, tracking investor discussions and offers, and overall monitoring of transaction processes
  • Preparation of research materials, market updates, sector overviews and relevant industry trends

You will have the opportunity for significant client exposure and responsibilities, developing strong technical, analytical and advisory skills in a collaborative environment.

We are looking to fill internship places from January 2027 and March 2027.
