Claim Non Motor Officer / Underwriting Reinsurance Officer

Job Description Claim Non Motor Officer

• Receiving claim notifications from insured (Heavy Equipment, Property, Cargo, etc) - Collecting (informing & reminding) all required documents from insured

• Reviewing liability of each claims

• Being responsible of claim loss adjustment

• Being responsible of salvage bidding

• Communicating with subcontractors (i.e. Workshop, Loss Adjuster & Salvage Buyer) - Monitoring and verifying claim payment process

• Conducting claim surveys and/or risk survey (if any required)

• Assist in handling the administrative process of submitting non-motor insurance claims from the time of submission to completion

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.

• Fresh graduates are very welcome to apply

• Required Skill(s): having good communication skill as well as interpersonal skill

• Good problem solving and High attention to details.

• Ability to operate Ms. Office.

• Proficiency language in English, especially verbal communication.

Job Description Underwriting and Reinsurance

• Evaluating and determining appropriate risk levels for insurance policies

• Structuring and negotiating reinsurance contracts to manage the company's exposure

• Analysing data and industry trends to inform underwriting and reinsurance decisions

• Make IRA (Internal Reinsurance Application) and ICR (Internal Claim Recovery).

• Make a Faculative Reinsurance Slip along with a Debit/Credit Note.

• Make PLA (Preliminary Loss Advice) and DLA (Definite Loss Advice) along with Debit/Credit Notes.

• Make a Statement of Account every quarter.

• Make other documents requested by the Head of Section / Officer Reinsurance Section.

• Filling in the documents for the Reinsurance Section.

• Underwrite Polis Insurance

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics major.

• Fresh graduates are very welcome to apply.

• Required Skill(s): having good communication skill as well as interpersonal skill

• Preferably Less than 2 years experience specialized in administration.

• High attention to details.

• Ability to operate Ms. Office (intermediate)

• Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant software and tools

• Up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, industry trends, and best practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
