About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Accounting Supervisor to join PT Sinar Aplikasi Jaya Laksana. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Raya. In this supervisory role, you will oversee the accounting operations and financial reporting functions of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial activities. The Finance Accounting Supervisor plays a strategic role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the broader financial management objectives of the company.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation activities
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Review and validate all financial transactions and records to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to ensure team members meet departmental standards and objectives
Conduct regular audits of accounting procedures and internal controls to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies
Liaise with external auditors during audit engagements and prepare supporting documentation as required
Monitor and manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are properly recorded and documented
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review and decision-making purposes
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline accounting operations and improve productivity
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with tax authorities as necessary
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Strong proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and analysis
Demonstrated ability to lead, train and motivate accounting team members effectively
Strong understanding of internal controls, audit procedures and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is highly desirable
Experience with financial reconciliation, bank statements and cash flow management
