Job Role: Ecommerce, Marketing and Operations Specialist

Compensation range: $2000 - $3000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: An established Australia-based B2B corporate gifting company specialising in the real estate, property, and automotive sectors. The business works with a range of national brands and franchise networks. It has built a strong reputation for quality and service, with consistently high client satisfaction and repeat business. The team is small, agile, and operates from a coastal region in Australia.

Role Overview: We are looking for a versatile, tech savvy allrounder who can move comfortably across Shopify, Cin7, marketing execution, and customer service support when volumes spike. This is a true generalist role suited to someone who enjoys variety, picks up new systems quickly, and takes pride in clean, accurate, on brand work. You will work closely with our Sunshine Coast team to keep our Shopify store and Cin7 inventory system in good shape, execute marketing campaigns across EDM and social, maintain HubSpot CRM, and step in to help with customer enquiries during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify

? Load new products with images, descriptions, pricing, variants, and inventory

? Maintain product pages, collections, navigation, and search filters

? Update homepage banners, promotional pages, and landing pages

? Light theme edits using Liquid, HTML, and CSS

? Configure and manage Shopify apps and third party integrations

? Audit site performance, broken links, and SEO basics

? Troubleshoot store issues and coordinate with our developer on larger pieces of work

Cin7 and Systems

? Maintain product master data, SKUs, and bill of materials in Cin7

? Manage inventory accuracy, stock adjustments, and reorder points

? Configure and troubleshoot the Shopify, Cin7, A2X integration

? Build and refine reports for the GM and Sales Manager

? Identify opportunities to automate or improve workflows across our tech stack

? Support the bookkeeping team with data reconciliation across systems

Marketing Execution

? Plan, build, and schedule EDM campaigns end to end (segmentation, copy, design,

send, reporting)

? Schedule and post organic social content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook via

Meta Business Suite

? Write SEO friendly product copy and landing page copy

? Build landing pages for campaigns, promotions, and new product launches

? Design assets in Canva (EDM headers, social tiles, gift cards, product flyers, sales

collateral)

? Manage VistaPrint and other supplier print orders

? Set up, monitor, and report on Meta and Google Ads campaigns (in collaboration with

our agency or internal lead)

? Track campaign performance, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and recommend

improvements

? Maintain brand consistency across every customer touchpoint

CRM (HubSpot)

? Maintain customer data in HubSpot (deduplication, tagging, segmentation, list hygiene)

? Build and manage marketing workflows, automations, and lead nurture sequences

? Support sales pipeline cleanliness and reporting

? Build dashboards and reports for the sales and marketing team

Customer Service (Peak Periods and Backup)

? Respond to customer enquiries via inbox, phone, and live chat during peak season

? Process orders for Create Your Own (CYO) custom gift boxes

? Provide quotes and follow up on outstanding proposals

? Resolve product and delivery issues quickly and professionally

? Maintain accurate notes in HubSpot for every interaction

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential

? Three or more years in an ecommerce business, with hands on Shopify experience

? Demonstrated marketing execution experience (EDM, social, landing pages, reporting)

? Cin7 experience (or strong experience with a comparable ERP such as NetSuite,

Unleashed, or DEAR)

? Confident configuring integrations between ecommerce, ERP, and accounting platforms

? Working knowledge of HubSpot, including workflows and reporting

? Strong Canva skills with a good eye for design and brand consistency

? Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and basic Liquid for Shopify theme edits

? Excellent written and spoken English (C1 preferred); strong copywriting ability

? High attention to detail; you do not let typos through and you double check your own

work

? Self starter who works well without close supervision

? Reliable internet, backup power, and a quiet home workspace

? Comfortable working Australian Eastern Standard Time hours

Desirable

? Experience with Klaviyo for EDM

? Experience running or supporting Meta and Google Ads campaigns

? Prior experience supporting an Australian based business

? B2B customer service or account management experience

? Graphic design experience beyond Canva (Adobe Creative Suite)

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
