Currently PERSOL Indonesia are assisting one of our clients, a Japanese company located in the Hokkaido prefecture seeking for engineers for myriad construction projects within the prefecture, where you'll be enrolled to a Japanese language school first before departing to Japan to work with details as follows:
School period
Language school location: Gading Serpong, Tangerang Selatan
School start date: September - October 2026
School term: 1 year
Learning daily schedule: Mon - Sat, 8.30 AM - 6.00 PM WIB (Sat: 8.30 AM - 12.00 PM WIB)
Allowance during school term: IDR 3,000,000 / month
Learning target: JLPT N2 or similar proficiency

Office Location: Hokkaido prefecture, Japan
Project Location: Hokkaido prefecture, Japan
Contract duration: 1.5 year of initial contract
Project scopes: Civil, non-building public urban infrastructures
ex: MRT, LRT, railway, substation, roads, bridges, tunnel, port, street lighting, public transportation stations, drainage, transmission & distribution lines, etc.
Scope of responsibilities
You may be assigned to responsibilities that include Project Management, Quality Management, Safety Management, Cost Management, based on project requirements and your professional experience.
Requirements
Has 2 years or more of experience in Civil Engineering
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degrees
Has experience in types of projects mentioned above (civil, non-building public urban infrastructure)
Intermediate speaking-proficiency in English (Interviews will be conducted in English)
JLPT N2 (Prior to deployment to Japan)
(highly preferred) has high interest working in Japan
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Approximately IDR 25 million per month (JPY 230,000–260,000)
Accommodation in Japan will be partially supported
Working visa provided (Gijinkoku / Engineer's Visa)
