We are a multinational company in Gresik, East Java, currently seeking an experienced Export Specialist to support our growing business operations.
The Export Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all export activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant international shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage whole export processes from order receipt to product shipment and delivery.
Prepare and review export documents, ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
Maintain accurate export records and filing systems for audit purposes.
Ensure compliance with import-export laws, trade agreements, and customs regulations.
Collaborate with Sales, Production, Planning, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Serve as the main contact point for export customers regarding shipment-related inquiries.
Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers.
Monitor costs and recommend cost-effective shipping solutions.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance export efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in export operations, international logistics, or supply chain management. Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Experience handling export documentation and customs clearance processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Strong understanding of export procedures and international trade regulations.
Knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit (L/C), and customs documentation.
