We are seeking a highly experienced Legal Specialist to manage the Company’s legal, compliance, and regulatory risk matters within a regulated business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all legal, compliance, and legal risk mitigation matters of the Company.
- Handle and/or supervise litigation and non-litigation matters, including court proceedings, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Prepare, review, and provide legal opinions, legal memoranda, and legal analysis on strategic and operational issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and corporate agreements.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulators, supervisory bodies, and government authorities.
- Ensure fulfillment of regulatory compliance and reporting obligations.
- Ensure the Company’s activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, particularly within regulated, financial, technology, and digital business sectors.
- Analyze business processes and operational systems to identify legal and regulatory risks or gaps, and provide practical mitigation recommendations.
- Manage and maintain legal documentation, records, and filing systems.
- Provide legal advisory support to management and internal departments (HR, Compliance, Operations, IT).
- Represent the Company in meetings, clarifications, audits, or examinations conducted by regulators or enforcement authorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Advocate certification
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional legal experience (In-House Counsel, Senior Legal Officer, or Law Firm).
- Proven experience in litigation, including court proceedings and case handling.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, business law, legal & compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Solid understanding of manpower law, job creation law, and IT-related regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure, manage complex issues, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to work on-site (WFO) in PIK2.
