Job Description:We seek experienced Thai-to-English and/or English-to-Thai translators and/or editors to join our team.
The work is for our U.S. government client and requiresfull U.S. citizenshipto translate vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts. The role will consist of translating and editing various types of documentation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
1. A native speaker of Thai and near-native English.
2. Bachelor’s degree in translation or an equivalent qualification.
3. A minimum of three to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor.
4. Reliable, able to meet deadlines, and highly productive.
5. A team player with excellent communication skills.
6. Must be equipped with up-to-date Windows software.
7. Excellent formatting skills.
8. Comfortable with one-to-two-day deadlines.
9. Able to provide per-word rates for either translations or editing or both.
10. Willing to accept assignments as needed.
