About the role
Build and maintain strong long-term relationship between the trade customers and the company. Look after all aspects of negotiation and take care of product listing, sales, promotions, product placement, brand activations and new counter location for the company. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop key strategic accounts to maximise revenue and profitability
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client contacts
Understand and address the unique needs of each client to deliver tailored solutions
Oversee stock levels and manage order fulfilment to ensure timely delivery
Develop accurate sales forecasts and order projections to align with market demands
Identify and capitalise on new opportunities to grow existing accounts
Provide regular updates and analysis on account performance and strategy
Represent the company at client meetings, events and contract negotiations
Work with departments like Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to deliver solutions for clients
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role
Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in key account management or sales
Experience in the cosmetics or retail industry is an advantage
