We are looking for 1–2 talented 2D Animators & Motion Graphics Designers to create engaging children’s storytelling and educational content for our Gentle Guru and SG Scholars projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience in both character animation and motion graphics, with a passion for creating high-quality content that inspires and educates young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create 2D animated videos for children’s storytelling series, including Pebble n Puff and Arthur n Angela.
* Produce engaging educational animations for English, Mathematics, and Science lessons for children aged 5–16.
* Animate characters, scenes, visual effects, and motion graphics based on scripts and storyboards.
* Design and develop educational visual elements, including charts, diagrams, icons, and interactive learning graphics.
* Collaborate with content creators, writers, and the creative team to transform concepts into engaging video content.
* Edit and enhance animations with transitions, sound synchronization, and visual effects.
* Ensure all projects are delivered on time while maintaining high production quality.
* Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute ideas to improve storytelling and learning experiences.
Requirements:
* Good command of English, with the ability to understand scripts, storyboards, and communicate effectively with the team.
* Proven experience in 2D Animation and Motion Graphics.
* Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant animation tools.
* Strong understanding of character animation, motion design, and visual storytelling.
* Ability to create animations that are engaging, educational, and suitable for children.
* Experience working with educational content, e-learning projects, or children’s media is highly preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Portfolio showcasing animation and motion graphics work is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Good command of English, with the ability to understand scripts, storyboards, and communicate effectively with the team.
* Experience with Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender, or similar animation software.
* Knowledge of storyboarding, character rigging, and asset preparation.
* Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows is a plus.
* Experience creating content for online learning platforms, YouTube, or children’s educational programs.
