We are a boutique Destination Management Company based in Bali looking for a Chief Accountant to manage end-to-end compliance, tax obligations, HR, BPJS and other general admin.
Key Responsibilities:
As the head of accounting, you will be responsible for all taxation, LKPM , BPJS and HR requirements in the company. The successful candidate can and will:
Monitor, prepare and submit all taxation requirements to relevant authorities
Maintain good fiscal hygiene of company books
Monitor, maintain and ensure BPJS is both active, updated and payments maintained
Monitor and maintain employment requirements including contracts, absence, hiring and termination
Completion of any other finance or HR related needs required by the company
Have the capacity to work alone to complete these duties
Financial Reporting:
· Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and regulatory bodies.
· Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
· Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
· Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.
· Address potential compliance issues proactively.
Internal Controls:
· Establish and monitor internal control procedures and policies to safeguard the organization's financial assets.
· Oversees the Accounting function, ensuring the implementation of proper segregation of functions and internal control procedures.
· Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
· Ensures prompt tracking of expenses against budget and the implementation of corrective measures for significant revenue or expense variances.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
· Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Financial Analysis:
· Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Audit Support:
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and supporting the audit process.
Process Improvement:
· Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
