About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the security, reliability, and scalability of an AI-powered patent search and analytics platform used by enterprises, law firms, and universities. In this role, you will drive a secure-by-design engineering approach, ensuring compliance while enabling fast and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with engineering teams to embed security across the development lifecycle and support the growth of a resilient, scalable infrastructure.
This position involves hands-on work with modern cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, containerization, observability platforms, and security compliance frameworks within a fast-growing product environment.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen the security, reliability, and scalability of the systems supporting the NLPatent platform.
- Advance and promote a secure-by-design engineering approach across the organization.
- Support the business in maintaining compliance requirements while enabling rapid and dependable software delivery.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed security thinking and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support the continued growth and improvement of a robust and resilient infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles
- Strong AWS expertise
- Experience with Terraform
- Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Grafana/Prometheus stack
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology product business
