Purpose
This role is aiming at:
Provide leadership to all functional workshops.
Devise production strategies & tactics for Quality, Delivery, Cost & Efficiency.
Ensure flawless execution with data-driven & continuous improvement mindset.
Manage ad-hoc projects for short-to-long term competitive advantages.
Liaise with direct supervisor and HQ for operations effectiveness & policy execution.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the factory operations including monitoring of day-to-day production planning & scheduling, production progress, process improvement, quality control, resources allocation & cost management etc to ensure the efficient, quality and safe operations of the factory.
Recruit and train talented candidates of all workshops including but not limited to PFL, HTL, Paper Printing, Thermal, RFID etc.
Analyse project requirements and support seniors on defining project plan, annual budgets.
Facilitate lean/ KPI to the floor plan and promote 5S to the working environment.
Set quality strategies to drive company quality cultures and quality improvements in process, product, and system with training.
Responsible for designing, developing, managing and implementing a quality standard with clear processes.
Understand the customer quality requirement, maintain an on-going dialogue with our customers to understand their needs especially when there is any quality complaint. Work with the internal stakeholders to meet and exceed our client’s quality expectations and handle any potential issues whenever necessary.
Responsible for the assessment of existing quality systems and protocols with sustainable improvement.
Resolve immediate issues and/or implement change as required to enhance existing protocols/procedures.
Accountable for analysing quality performance and driving constant improvements including implementing non-conformance action plans, trouble shooting, root cause analysis and case studies for continuous improvement.
Follow any special project as senior requests.
Qualifications
Fluent in English is a must, other languages are a bonus.
5 years+ solid experiences of which not less than 2 years at managerial level in label/garment
manufacturing
Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
Good at time management and able to catch timelines.
Understand the local law and regulations.
