Description:

IFT Group is an IT consulting and technology solutions company that provides professional IT talents and digital solution support for various business needs. Currently, we are looking for Java Developers to be placed at our client, a company in the banking industry.

This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The selected candidates will work closely with the client’s technology team to support system development, API integration, feature enhancement, bug fixing, and application optimization. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in a client-facing environment, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and willing to work full WFO at the client’s office in Jakarta Selatan.

Job Description:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate Skill Wajib Diisi (Maks. 20) based on business and technical requirements.
• Support the development of end-to-end features, including analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment support.
• Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and application performance improvement.
• Work with relational databases such asSkill Wajib Diisi (Maks. 20)
• Collaborate with internal teams, client teams, QA, Business Analyst, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code review, pull request, and version control activities using Git.
• Estimate task effort and provide regular progress updates to the project team.
• Ensure delivered code follows clean code principles, OOP concepts, and development best practices.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing and integration testing.
• Document technical implementation when required.
• Adapt to client standards, working culture, and project delivery timeline.

Job Requirements:

1. General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience for Junior to Mid-level Java Developer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience for Mid-level Java Developer with stronger technical exposure.
• Open for candidates with experience as Backend Java Developer or Fullstack Developer with Java backend exposure.
• Willing to be placed as an outsourced employee at client site.
• Willing to work full WFO in Jakarta Selatan.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry will be a strong advantage.

2. Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of Java 8+ and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Familiar with OOP concepts, including inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and abstraction.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience using Spring Boot for backend or REST API development.
• Familiar with Spring ecosystem, such as: Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA / Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Validation, Application configuration using application.yml or application.properties
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, pagination, and JSON handling.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL-based databases.
• Able to write SQL queries and understand basic database design, indexing, and normalization.
• Familiar with version control using Git.
• Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Familiar with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Basic knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud deployment will be an advantage.

3. Nice to Have

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or caching strategy.
• Familiar with Clean Architecture.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes or containerization.
• Experience using AI tools or automation tools such as n8n is a plus.
