SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the full accounting function for the company's restaurant and accommodation businesses. This includes bookkeeping, accounts payable, cash flow management, payroll and service charge calculations, tax compliance, financial reporting, bank and sales reconciliations, and profitability analysis. The role ensures accurate financial records, supports management with financial insights, and maintains the company's financial health using Xero accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting for two companies using Xero.
- Record daily financial transactions, petty cash, and cash sales.
- Manage accounts payable and prepare supplier payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, sales, and financial transactions.
- Monitor weekly cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows.
- Prepare monthly payroll and service charge calculations based on attendance records.
- Prepare monthly tax calculations and ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and Corporate Income Tax.
- Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit margins, and overall business profitability.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and Indonesian taxation.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and able to work independently.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
