About the role

PT. Sobeer Sumber Rezeki is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Banquet professional to join our hospitality and travel agency team. This is a full-time position based in Bali, where you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through the promotion and sale of our banquet and events services. As Sales Banquet, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with corporate and individual clients, and ensuring exceptional service delivery that exceeds expectations. This role is integral to our business growth strategy and offers significant opportunities for career progression within the hospitality and tourism sector.

Key responsibilities

  1. Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients, wedding organisers, event planners and individual clients seeking banquet and events services

  2. Present and pitch banquet packages and customised event solutions to potential clients, highlighting unique offerings and competitive advantages

  3. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to secure bookings and maximise revenue whilst maintaining profitability

  4. Maintain comprehensive client databases and follow up on leads systematically to convert prospects into confirmed bookings

  5. Coordinate with internal teams including operations, catering and event planning to ensure seamless execution of booked events

  6. Prepare detailed proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client requirements and preferences

  7. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to encourage repeat business and referrals

  8. Monitor sales performance metrics and work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets

  9. Attend industry events, networking functions and trade shows to promote services and generate leads

  10. Provide clients with exceptional pre- and post-event support to ensure satisfaction and positive testimonials


What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality, events, travel or tourism industry

  2. Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing deals

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

  4. Ability to identify client needs and present tailored solutions that address their requirements

  5. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications

  6. Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing multiple leads and projects simultaneously

  7. Knowledge of banquet operations, event planning and catering services is advantageous

  8. Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages such as Mandarin or Japanese are highly desirable

  9. Willingness to travel locally within Bali to meet clients and attend events

  10. A professional appearance and strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
