Bookkeeping & Data Entry
• Maintain and update the general ledger on a daily and weekly basis
• Record all financial transactions accurately using QuickBooks
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts
Month-End Close
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare and review journal entries and accruals
• Generate monthly financial reports for management review
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reconciliations
Tax & Compliance
• Support preparation of tax filings, including VAT/GST returns as required
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation
Reporting & Communication
• Coordinate with HR, IT, and management on finance-related matters
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding expenses, invoices, and account balances
• Flag discrepancies and escalate issues to the Accounting Manager promptly
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online); certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and GAAP principles
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
• QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor or equivalent certification
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting cycles
• Familiarity with accounting compliance and tax filings
• Experience working within a structured onboarding or process-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
