Palm and Lauric Sourcing Officer

This role is NOT a security guard position. The role focuses on managing security vendors, coordinating site operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the on-site security operations representative, supporting the Assistant Manager in daily decision-making and field execution 

• Manage and evaluate third-party security vendor performance, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and company standards 

• Review and control security manpower deployment, including guard posting, shift arrangements, and personnel changes 

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure overall site security readiness and smooth operations 

• Ensure security operations are aligned with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements 

• Monitor the performance and condition of security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.), and coordinate maintenance and improvements with relevant teams 

• Lead and support incident handling processes, including investigation, documentation, and root cause analysis (RCA) for security-related cases 

• Identify potential security risks and provide recommendations to improve prevention, control measures, and operational effectiveness 

• Participate in vendor review meetings and ensure follow-up actions are executed properly 

• Support administrative processes related to security operations, including system usage (e.g., Coupa) and reporting 

• Provide operational data, analysis, and insights to support continuous improvement and security strategy development

Requirements

• Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Administration, Safety, Information Technology, Psychology, or any related field

• Security related certification is an advantage

• 3 years of experience in security/law enforcement related or supervisory work is preferable

• Knowledge of physical security procedures and operational protocols

• Basic risk assessment, incident investigation and reporting skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Ability to manage administration and documentation and compliance with audit standard

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability

• Flexible to work at night, weekends, or be on-call when necessary

• Good in supervision, coordination/collaboration (with internal and external stakeholders), and has clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written)

• Being decisive, takes initiatives, and has good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Willing to be placed in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
