About the role

We are seeking an experienced Room Division Manager to join Ulu Cliffhouse in Kuta Selatan, Bali. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of our accommodation operations. As Room Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping, front office, and guest services to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the high operational standards that define our luxury property.

Key responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management

  2. Maintain high standards of room cleanliness and maintenance across all guest accommodations

  3. Coordinate with the front office team to ensure seamless guest check-ins and check-outs

  4. Monitor room inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient procurement and stock management

  5. Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary

  6. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all room division operations

  7. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to maintain property standards

  8. Lead, mentor, and supervise room division staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment

  9. Prepare detailed reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and departmental performance

  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated and seamless guest service delivery

  11. Implement cost-control measures whilst maintaining service excellence


What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in hotel operations management, specifically in a room division or housekeeping management role

  2. Proven experience managing large teams in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment

  3. Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems and property management software (PMS)

  4. Excellent leadership and staff management capabilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams

  5. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort

  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff at all levels

  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle guest complaints with diplomacy and efficiency

  8. Budget management experience and demonstrated cost-control awareness

  9. Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable to hospitality operations

  10. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

  11. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is advantageous
