Job Summary
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating visually appealing and brand-aligned displays that enhance the customer shopping experience in sports retail stores. This role combines creativity, market awareness, and merchandising strategy to drive sales and strengthen brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
- Design and implement in-store displays, window setups, and product presentations aligned with seasonal campaigns and promotions.
- Ensure sports apparel, footwear, and equipment are showcased to highlight performance, style, and innovation.
Brand & Store Alignment
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while adapting to local market trends.
- Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to translate campaign concepts into engaging visual displays.
Customer Experience
- Create layouts that maximize product visibility and encourage customer interaction.
- Monitor customer flow and adjust displays to optimize store navigation and engagement.
Performance & Reporting
- Track sales impact of visual merchandising initiatives.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
?Operational Support
- Train store staff on visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure displays are maintained, updated, and compliant with safety and accessibility requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably in sports or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of sports culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
