Responsibilities:
Review and interpret project engineering documents, including P&ID, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, I/O list, control philosophy, cause & effect, and system architecture.
Prepare and develop automation and instrumentation engineering documents, including Functional Design Specification, PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration, FAT/SAT procedures, commissioning procedures, and technical reports.
Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control system applications based on project requirements.
Support site surveys, installation checks, calibration, and troubleshooting activities for field instruments and automation systems.
Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities for automation and instrumentation systems.
Monitor technical progress of assigned automation and instrumentation work scopes to ensure alignment with project schedule, specifications, and safety standards.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics Engineering, Physics Instrumentation or equivalent from a reputable university.
Have a minimum of 4 years experience in automation system in Oil & Gas industry
Have a good knowledge of PLC and automation system (espescially using PLC Allen Bradley).
Familiar with field instruments such as pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow transmitters, sensors, and control valves.
Able to read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, I/O list, instrument datasheets, control philosophy, and other technical documents.
Familiar with testing, troubleshooting, FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Good communication skills and having experience in training delivery are preferable.
